West Michigan Beach Volleyball is an organization Steven established in the Lakeshore area that is dedicated to spreading enjoyment of the sport, expanding participation among school-age children, and nurturing and developing beach volleyball skills in young people of all ages. The clinics and tournaments he established and organizes yearly are now a fixture in the Grand Haven area, and with the support of several local businesses, West Michigan Beach Volleyball regularly awards financial scholarships to deserving high school students.
Steven began playing volleyball at the age of 4 and never looked back. His talent and dedication to the game brought him to the heights of Professional Beach Volleyball where he competed internationally and trained with some of the best athletes in the world. When he returned to West Michigan, his love of the sport and passion for teaching young people how to play and hone their skills led him to establish the West Michigan Michigan Beach Volleyball.
