Steven VanderWerp
With over a decade in the real estate industry, Steven brings a wealth of local knowledge and genuine care to every client experience. A Grand Haven native, he combines deep area expertise with a no-pressure approach, helping clients make confident and informed decisions when buying or selling along the lakeshore.
Known for his honesty, initiative, and clear communication, Steven believes that addressing challenges early, rather than waiting for them to become problems, leads to smoother and more successful transactions. His clients appreciate his straightforward style and his commitment to keeping them informed every step of the way.
Before launching his real estate career, Steven competed and represented the United States at the U-21 Beach Volleyball World Championships and went on to play professional beach volleyball. He continues to stay active in the sport by running beach volleyball tournaments through West Michigan Beach Volleyball and giving back to the community by donating his time to Community Cares for Teens.
When he is not negotiating deals or supporting local youth, Steven enjoys life in West Michigan with his wife, Erin, their son, Sebastian, and their dog, Ezzie.
